Hi awesome forum folks,
I am applying as a FSW under NOC 2132 Mechanical Engineers. When I fill out my EE profile I am asked to provide the date on which I "first became qualified to practice in this occupation", i.e. the date on which I graduated with a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering. So far so good.
The problem is, that I only have an ECA for my masters degree (which is not in mechanical engineering) but no ECA for my bachelors degree because this is expensive but doesn't give me extra CRS points.
Therefore, I have two questions:
1. Do I need to get an ECA for my bachelors degree to prove that I am eligible to apply under NOC 2132 Mechanical Engineers? My work experience is related to mechanical engineering.
2. Do I need to include my bachelor studies in the "education history" section, despite not having an ECA for this degree?
Thanks!
