using gmail? disable your spam filters

there's been lots of cases where CIC doc requests disappear into our spam folders and cause unnecessary delays. missing a doc request from CIC could also lead to your application being cancelled. unless you're in the habit of checking your spam folder regularly, it's wiser to disable your spam filter altogether for as long as you're being processed.
