Hello,

I am in Canada and I've nearly completed studies, 20 months back I used a food bank which is a **registered charitable non-profit organization.** FOR ONLY 1 TIME EVER, but, at that time they asked my Identification so I gave my passport for it, so is it going to give some issues in Permanent residency? like for example -> why did you use food bank? or are you poor enough? Please Give you advices.

Thank you very much

No dont worry you can use food bank anytime you want. As a matter of fact I know few people who do groceries from there. Why spend money on something you getting for free. By the way these people have, jobs, houses and cars

Don't be naive.. Immigration and food bank has nothing to do with each other.. Do you really think they will report you?

You realize that food banks are meant for people who need assistance and are struggling, your attitude of "dont worry you can use food bank anytime you want. As a matter of fact I know few people who do groceries from there. Why spend money on something you getting for free. By the way these people have, jobs, houses and cars" is really disgusting. But in response to the question no that will not be used against you though I wish it would be in the case of the dummy who replied to you.

Not an issue legally - just morally
