Good evening,

I have received an ITA and I am preparing my documents. I have one question, please help.
I didnt find exactly an post here that could help me.

Back to 2010, I did a USCIS file under F1 (Family). My sponsor died (2017) and my petition was automatically revoked by USCIS as sponsored deceased. The USCIS letter mentionned exactly this reason for revokation.

I have never got a visa from USCIS and my petition wasnt approved since I never reached the cutting off date and sponsor passed away before that. Now, in the ITA file, they ask if I ever had a visa cancelled or revoked? Should I reply NO to this question?

Also I could have apeal or made a motion to USCIS to reinstate my petition but I chose not to and to move on as my sponsor died.

Thank you for your help. Would appreciate very much.

Be on the safe side and reply Yes, provide in the details, U.S sponsorship petition, and the reference number for the letter for the revocation.

It won't have any bearing on your application but better to disclose than it become potentially a case of omission.

They are going to know about the application anyway when they do your background check.
