My friend spouse was denied US visit visa as she informed visa officer at POE that she is going to meet her friends in US although they were married.Need to understand that will It effect their PR application for Canada for providing incorrect information to US visa officer

how are they even going to know you were denied visa to the US?
You have to tell them if you were refused in US visa, or any other visa. If you won't do that, it can be treated as a miss presentation and can lead to rejection with ban to enter Canada for 5 years.

However, you don't need to provide additional details of your rejection. You can just say: Rejected in US tourist visa, when, where, that's all.

Very easily. Canada and the US share immigration information. The refusal must be declared in the PR application.

Correct because it is viewed as misrepresentation and you will get rejected.

Sorry but didn’t understand, was she refused visa during visa interview at the consulate or refused entry into the states at POE?
Either cases have to be declared.

Your friends spouse committed immigration fraud by lying at POE. USA and Canada share this information.

So if say they refused you in 2010 and reapplied and got granted in 2014, do you still have to state the refusal?

Yes. Doesn't matter if you reapplied and got the visa in the end. All applicants must state how many past visa refusals and from which countries on their application forms. Not declaring any visa refusals is considered misrepresentation.

What if we mentions about those refusals, do you think it’s gonna delay our PR process?

Yes - absolutely. The 2010 refusal is still a refusal and it's mandatory you list it in any application to Canada.

Not necessarily
...I got denied a US visa (at the consulate not at POE) and it didn't seem to affect my application thank God nor delay it

The basic general rule is be honest and definitely don't deliberately lie

Thanks for your prompt reply. Can I ask you one more thing? Did you submit schedule A?

No worries...

No I wasn't ask to submit Schedule A...only filled in the info during the original application detailing the visa rejection and reason and application number (I had this info)
