USA Social Security name change question

I just received my application back from SSA with a note stating I need to send them originals of my marriage certificate, passport and/or driver license. This doesn't work for me I can't be in Canada without a passport and I can't live with out my drivers license. I drive kids to and from school daily. Anyone know a way around this or advice on what they did to change their name in the USA.

I'm not sure if this helps, but I'm waiting until after my application is finished and I have my PR card in hand to change my name. That way I don't have stress or rush changing my name on my passport and with the SSA, etc, and then having my last name on my PR Card changed.
