USA outland, FBI check

Hi All,

It seems that CIC will now accept FBI checks from the certified third party providers (so we can get FBI checks in a few days rather than months). Can anyone confirm this? This is what the CIC website shows now anyway. Also, for US citizen spousal applicants, do we need to ONLY supply the FBI check, it makes no mention of providing state level checks now. yes - channeler reports are now accepted for US citizens/PRs.

Yes, only the FBI check is required upfront. State checks are not necessary unless there is a specific criminality issue or if it's requested by CIC(which is very rare).
