US skilled worker wants to come to Canada but has DWAI from 2 yrs ago

Can anyone help with finding out how my friend can get entry into Canada to work even though he has a DWAI charge from 2 yrs ago. He has no other charges against him and is currently self-employed as a contractor/renovations/construction worker. He is not eligible for the rehabilited option because its been less than 2 yrs. I can offer him work on my farm and a place to live and know of others that have work for him as well for house renovations.
