US PCC & Birth Certificate

I have applied for US FBI Clearance in start of June. I know the standard timelines are like 12-16 weeks, but by any chance anyone has got before that?? I haven't got the ITA, but I expect to get ITA somewhat in August/Sep with score of 481. I have all the documents ready with exception of US PCC! Considering the scores were low, I thought I'll get the ITA soon, but observing the trend now, it seems 2-3 months before it comes to 480 or 470.

Anyhow also I do not have Birth Certificate? Could we use alternatives? Or I have to get one from MCD

There is no alternative for FBI clearance. US citizens can get it through FBI approved agencies/channellers (takes around 1 week), but that option isn't available for others.

I think birth certificate isn't mandatory, you can use passport. I didn't submit birth certificate, my document check is completed without any issue.
