Hello, I'm a newly graduated university student in the US. I was wondering if anyone know how living in the US and working in Canada, currently looking at the Abbotsford area. Thank you for your time and hope to see Canada much more often.

Do you already have a Canadian work permit?

Why don't you work in Point Roberts area? Then starting next month you can do some non essential traveling in Canada while going to work there.

No I don't

You need to secure a job offer in Canada from an employer as a start and that employer may need to get an approved LMIA as well. Only then will you be able to apply for a work permit. If you can get through this process successfully, then you can certainly look into living in the US while working in Canada

Given the exchange rate it doesn’t make a lot of sense to live in the US and try to work in Canada.
