Hello everyone. I have a question. Some people on here have said that based on reciprocity, the validity of B1/B2 visas issued is based on the maximum that would have been issued if you applied in your home country. I mean it's based on your home country's maximum. So if the maximum in my home country is 24 months, I will get 24 months even though I am applying in Canada. I saw posts saying it won't be based on Canada's reciprocity which is 120 months even if you have a Canadian PR. However, it says here https://fam.state.gov/FAM/09FAM/09FAM040308.html that if you had a Canadian PR, it will be based on Canada's reciprocity. Can someone please advise? Which is it?
