URGENT: What are my VISA chances?

Hi,

My brother is trying for September intake. Details and Status as of now:

XII - 52%
BBA - 48%
IELTS - 6,6,5.5,6 (R,L,W,S)
College - Mohawk
Course - International Business Management
Medical - Done
Course Fee - Paid
GIC - Wire Transfer by 19th July,Friday,
VISA - Will be applied as and when GIC is received.
Last Date for filing VISA - 29th July

Please tell me based on qualification whether he'll get VISA or not? Also, is it too late to apply?

sorry to say this but chances r a bit slim......he has poor BBA grads and IELTS on borderline so i suggest he should write a very strong SOP and also add strong financial support documents as well as ties to home country and hope for the best.

chances are little less due to poor academics. but you can make your file stronger by adding a good SOP and showing sufficient funds .

yes they r not required but to make ur case strong it is a good idea to add as much positive documents as possible ..

Sorry for off-top but how he was able to do medical BEFORE applying for study permit?

Ya regina....there are a few that submit do the medicals before applying ....it in a way speeds up the process....

How is it possible? To get you medical test done you have to have forms for it INCLUDING the first page which you get from a doctor AFTER you get permission letter from VO. You cannot just go when you wish and download 1st page of the forms from www.cic.gc.ca.

Or am I missing something and you can download all necessary forms (including 1st page) from the site?

In India you can do medical before submitting your application. In India CHC site they have a form for it.

B.sc hotel management 76%
IELTS L7 R6 W6.5 S7 OVER ALL 7
Working in BPO as a consultant in marketing and finance background for 5 years.
Got admission for marketing and finance in george brown college.
Am waiting fot gic certificate hopefully vil apply for visa on 25 july.
Vil my visa get through . How can i satisfy the VO.
Please answer i am waiting for ur answer.

If you are applying under SPP following checklist will satisfy the officer and also previous course matching to future one. You have good chances for getting visa. Good Luck and hope the Best.
