Hi All,

Before we land in Canada my husband is looking for job overseas and one of the employer from a very big firm contacted him. That HR person wants scan copy of his visa and resume to process further.

Can anyone comment if it's ok to send scanned copy of visa to HR? We are encountering this type of requirement for the first time.

Early response is greatly appreciated.

I don't see how it would create any problems. They just want to verify if you really have a visa before they start the further process. A majority of Canadian companies do not want to waste their time with people who do not have a valid visa.
 
Please share other sources also for getting in touch with Canadian Employer for jobs
