Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hello all, need some advise from someone who can help. A quick turnaround would be REALLY appreciated. I am currently awaiting a decision as a FSW Inland applicant and am in the following situation:

I have a 13 months of employment history in Canada with a big multinational company. My employment with them ended in June 2015, after which I entered into a temporary contract with a company until end of October 2015. I am currently interviewing for a new job opportunity.

I received an ITA through Express Entry as an Inland FSW and have an AOR of end of August 2015. Do I have to inform CIC that I am currently looking for work (Through a CSE) ? Should I wait until they get in touch with me? Please do let me know my best option as a decision will likely be made in my case soon.

Thanks!

Yes you do. I presume at the time you filled out your EE profile you indicated that Job with 'Company X' as your 'Current Job'? If this is the case you do because its 'misrepresentation' if you don't as in the view of CIC you still work for 'Company X'.

If you indicated that you worked from 'Date X' to 'Date Y' then you don't need to contact CIC as your reference letter will explain your start and end dates of work.

If you have other questions let me know.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply! Would I need to do this through a CSE?

Thanks!

Yes if you were contacting them it would be through a CSE. Just bear in mind they take 10 business days to reply, so if you send it today realistically you can expect a reply by the week ending Sunday 17 January 2016 or may be even after that. You have to expect they will have less staff in the office in the Christmas/New Year period.

Thanks JoacRY. Do you have a link where I can make this update online? Appreciate your feedback!
