Urgent Suggestions Required

Hello all,

I have applied for FSWP this year and have sent all the documents which has been received by CIO, NOVA Scotia on 29th July 2013. But unfortunately I came to know that I have forgotten to attache the Schedule A: Background Declaration (IMM 5669) form for my Spouse.

Can any one please suggest if there is a way if I can send this completed form to CIO so that they dont reject my application in this regard.

Your kind suggestions will be highly appreciated.

I would recommend to send the missed form to CIO with a cover letter including the following details (as provided in your Generic form):
1. Date and time original application was delivered at CIC.
2. Name of person who signed and received the package at CIC (maybe attach a copy of proof of delivery)
3. Your full name
4. Passport number
5. Date of birth
6. Full address
7. NOC code
8. Contact number
10. email address

Please remember that CIO is not known to attach later sent documents to application packages. It is purely on chance that they will add it your application. Still no harm in trying.

Thank you for your assistance.I am sending the missing document today. Lets see if they accepts it or not.

Could you also please let me know when should they send the application back such as how many days they takes in order to reject an application.

I hope and pray that luck be on your side and your application package is accepted. Still if the case is otherwise then trends so far for FSW 2013 are showing that upon reaching CIO, it takes about 6 to 8 weeks before application package is opened and subjected to completeness check.

Incomplete applications are returned through regular mail to the applicant. So the time taken to reach the applicant depends on the their global location. For US it is observed through some applicants experience that it takes roughly 2 weeks. and for applicants in India at least 8 weeks but varies upon the standard of postal service in the country.
