I claimed work experience points for two jobs under NOC 2173(Software Engineers) with designations of Senior Software Engineer and Senior Software Developer respectively.

But I recently saw that on CIC website the NOC for Software Developer designation is 2174.

NOC 2173 (Software Engineers)
http://noc.esdc.gc.ca/English/noc/ViewAllTitles.aspx?val=2&val1=2173&ver=11&_ga=1.181305121.743831373.1492814449

NOC -2174 (Software Developers)
http://noc.esdc.gc.ca/English/noc/ViewAllTitles.aspx?val=2&val1=2174&ver=11&_ga=1.181305121.743831373.1492814449

Does it makes any difference between Software Engineer and Software Developer as these designations are used widely in the IT Industry to perform same type of job duties. I was doing the same regular programming stuff under both job designations and I don't see any difference.

First Job - With NOC - 2173 I have 8 yrs of work experience
Second Job - With NOC - 2174 I have 2.2 yrs of work experience.

Please advice what should I do now as I have received the ITA now.

As long as your job description/duty matches with the NOC code you are fine. It does not matter what your designation was. All it matters is your Job description, salary, duration etc mentioned in the experience letter.

Your job title does not matter. My job title was "Research Scientist", but I chose 2174 because that's what matched the duties in my reference letter the closest. If you're confused between 2174 and 2173, I'd recommend 2174 as it seems a bit broader.
