Hi guys,

So we completed all our paperwork and went off to Canada in end of August. For those that remember, my case was that we're expecting family and were returning to our home country, so we wenrt at that time because our baby will be born in Jan and our Visa would have expired in april (so after Aug/Sep it was difficult for my wife to travel, and we wouldn't go in the short 3 months after baby's born).

So anyway, our application was through Quebec, so while we landed in Toronto, after a couple of days we head out to Montreal and Quebec, and obtained our SINs and I setup a mailing address in Montreal (the immigration officer suggested I do not give a Toronto address if I applied through Quebec).

As soon as I came back, I went into the web site and informed the Montreal Address. A few weeks went buy, we were informed of an envelope and was happy as it should have been the cards. To my surprise, there was only one envelope contaning just my Wife's PR card....

Waited a few weeks more (I think 8 total) and since mine still had not arrived, I checked the site and filled out the form that you must send if the card was not received, and faxed it as per the instructions.

This was like a month ago and I still have not had any news :(

The problem is that the form doesn't ask you for e-mail to give you *some* form of confirmation at least, nor does there seem to be any number to call to ask?? So what do I do, as time keeps passing and I don't have my PR card, and I don't know if they received it or not, if I need to send again, etc.

Any help is appreciated.

Bump anyone..? ???

1. Probably a problem with the pictures.
2. Try contacting the call centre from overseas, you can try +1 613 944 4000 (for an agent: options 1,2,1,2,1 ... then 0 to skip the message) The options may have changed lately.

Hi, thanks for your reply!

I doubt it's the pictures. In fact, when I sent them to the embassy the first time they came back and told me they were wrong (background was slightly gray) and then whenI resubmitted they said they were fine...

I will try contacting this number. If it doesn't work I guess I'll just fax the form again plus an explanation and if they can confirm it's being processed or not somehow...
