Urgent question New work permit at border question

My friend completed her studies in canada and was on 3 year open work permit recently at the end of the work permit she had to travel back to bangladesh due to family emergency she was working from home at the time , suddenly the option to get 18 months extension came before her expiration of the 3 year work permit she applied from Bangladesh and got the approved but she kept working for the company as it was work from home.

Now when she will arrive canada and the border the officer will print her the new work permit she will be asked about the job.

The question is was she allowed to work in the gap from Bangladesh on interm work permit if not will it cause any problems at the border while getting a new work permit printed as she is still working with the same company.

There's no immigration issue with this. As long as her employer was fine with her working outside of Canada, she's good.

As long as she knows that time she worked outside of Canada will not counted as work experience inside. (even tho she was working for her Canadian employer)
