I sent in my PR renewal back in August with regular processing... however it still hasn't been processed yet according to the processing time online, and that it will take at least 3 months. My PR card is now expired, and I have some sudden travel plans on December 9th this year, and I figure I will have to submit for urgent processing. I'm about to submit for urgent processing this week hoping to get my PR card before then.
1. How are my chances to be able to make it?
2. How long does it normally take? I'm from Vancouver BC if this info helps.
3. I read from many places that, even if I am approved with my renewal, apparently I cannot pick up my card from the office until 4 weeks later?
4. Anything that I should pay special attention to when submitting the urgent processing? I've read all instructions on the website with the iternary/payment method/write urgent on envelop/include email address etc already...

Add: I was in Canada the whole time so there should be no problem with the duration to stay requirement.
Add: I have already purchased the airplane tickets
