So I informed CIC ottawa that I lost job in March. And Have a offer from a company who follows the policy of taking residents only and if i can be consider for urgent processing. I did it after talking to agent in call center.

Dont know if it will help or can get me some problem.

I don't understand what you're asking. Are you saying you believe you deserve special consideration from the CIC because you have a job offer?!

No, I was just asking if they consider urgent processing. I didnt said deserve :P

The won't give you preference. It does not matter if you have a job offer.

Urgent processing is only available for PR cards and citizenship applications.

Have you tried applying for a bowp with an explanation letter?

Ok, Though I already have a work permit till sep 2014..

Its a big company which only take PR

Oh well. Good luck but very unlikely.

There is no urgent processing for your immigration application under the CEC class.

@gladaki: I dont think they will give any special preference just because you have an offer that needs you to be a PR.

But, I really wish you get your PR soon.......Good Luck!!

Thanks buddy. I know there is nothing like urgent processing.
But who knows they may get it in normal processing its been 8 month and didn't heard any thing after my AOR on 20th dec

Sounds to me like an oil company I used to work for...

You should negotiate with them and not the CIC. They definitely will give you some leeway if you're just months away from getting it.
