I have my PR approved under QSW category. I will be landing shortly in Montreal, Quebec.
I am currently working for a consulting company in US on my H1B Visa. My current employer wants me to work remotely from Canada for 1-2 months for transition purposes.
I am not aware of the Canadian taxation and related legalities.
Can I be employed by an US company for this time period? Will it affect my tax status in Canada?
Do I need to forgo my H1B status?
What are the options for me to take over this proposal without breaking any Tax laws in Canada?
