Urgent PR renewal timeline current status decision made

Hi all,

I want to share my timeline with everyone as a reference be helpful for some in same situation.
I sent my PR renewal file on 7th Oct and received at Sydney on 13th , then as I noticed that I may not get my PR before my travel next year 20 Jan , I applied for urgent PR processing ( sent the ticket which was booked earlier Sept ).

1.We received your application for a permanent resident card on October 13, 2013.

2.We started processing your application on November 15, 2013.

3.Your request for a permanent resident card was approved on November 26, 2013. Your Permanent resident card will be mailed to you or if quality assurance is required, made available for you to pick up at a CIC office.


I just have a question about the meaning of point 3 :

A- will I receive my PR via mail ? if so how long it usually takes .
B- If I have to pick it up at a CIC office , what document shall I provide
I am out of the country ( business trip ) while I receive notification to pick my Pr , can I postpone it till I come back ?

It should be available atCIC office within 10 To 15 days. You will get a letter from CIC intimating you about date of collection. You should carry your passport and anyother documents supporting your RO obligation,which may or may not be asked.

You may seek postponement of pick up date by calling them or writing them.

Thanks for your reply and the clarifications , so it would not be send to me by mail ? do you any idea what kind of RO document I shall provide.
