A friend of mine has the following scenario:
She got her PR in September 2017, she travelled to Canada for her stamping on 23 December 2017. Got back to india on January 9,2018 to finish her job and other formalities. She will be leaving for Canada for good on June 11,2018. For this travel she needs her PR card which hasn’t arrived till date at the Canadian address.
She put in a query on mycic to see her status and ultimately wrote to IRCC checking why she is not able to find the status. They replied saying they need her recent photographs along with an option of sending an explaination letter.
My question:
1. When she sends her photographs , they will be stamped with the Indian photographer . Is there a mandate that the person should be in Canada to get this picture clicked? Will this be an issue?
2. What if the PR card doesn’t arrive before her intended travel in June?
3. Should she mention in the explanation letter, about this india visit and the intention of finally moving in June?
4. Or to be on the safe side, she should also apply for a PRTD?
