Urgent Pls: Proof of Funds at airport, entering as student

Hi Everyone,

I'm going to canada soon as a student. But I am not sure how much cash should i take with me to show proof of funds. I have USD citibank account bank statement to show them at the airport and account is under my name and i can easily use it internationally. I am very confused, should i get a certified check, bank draft? what is my best option here? please help me with this.

u already have a visa right? if so then u dont need proof of funds at the airport ...which country r u from?

Yes I have been issued 3 years study visa from Embasssy of Canada in Abu Dhabi, I am from pakistan, but currently in DUBAI

they wont ask about proof of funds at the port of entry.....atleast they didnt ask me any question at all.....

They didn't ask me either. But I took around 3000 $ CDN in travel card, just in case. It's a rare case if they ask you to show proof of funds.
