My Husband in Thailand received a letter from singapore telling him he is in their interview line and they will send him another letter to tell him were and when, ...Plsss do anyone knows how long is going to take before they send him the 2nd letter??? and wat questions they are going to ask him??? also i have not paid the landing fee, wat should i do? plsss advise!!!

Hey, firstly take a deep breath and relax! :) If I were you, I would order the CAIPs notes ASAP to find out if they think you marriage is genuine or not, or the interview is for any other reasons. If they have doubts about the marriage, they will ask your husbands questions which should prove them otherwise. There are many questions and ways of preparing for the interview and hopefully your husband shouldnt have problems. Just wait for the second letter, and they will give you ample time to prepare.

About the landing fees, they will instruct you when to pay that which is only going to be after the interview, once they are convinced about everything and want to issue the visa. So for now, all you can do is wait for them to send you further instructions. Hope this helps.

Here is a comprehensive list of interview questions which can be used by your husband to prepare for his interview. Please use the questions that are applicable to your scenario:

At the interview, most of the questions should be on the relationship and how well you know your spouse. Also, ask your husband to take any new evidences showing that you guys are in contact with each eg, phone records, skype records, any new pictures, anything showing that you have a continuous relationship. Im telling you this now itself so that you guys can start collecting evidences for the interview.

All the best! :)

thanks so much shamsia...i really appreciate, do u know how long it might take b4 they will send him the 2nd letter? and can the interview be waived? just curious.....

Hi again,

Im not too certain about when they will contact you with the 2nd letter. Depends from case to case, maybe the Singapore thread can help you out better.

Yes, the interview can be waived. Order your CAIPs notes to find out if they think the marriage is genuine or not. You can also send them your more recent proof, like telephone bills, phone records etc to show that you are in a continuous relationship. There have been instances when the interview has been waived when people sent additional proof. All the best!
