I just checked on IRCC tracker that, Ircc issued study permit on my old passport even though I updated them with new passport in January and now i have submitted my new passport for visa stamp. would this create any issue? Also, they issued visa until October 14, 2024, in accordance with the prior passport expiration date. Would it create any issue if I wanted to travel in August? my classes will start in September.

Send them your current passport with proof of updating previous one that they did not action on it.
