Hello Everyone!!

Am Canadian Citizen, at present in India on Emergency Tourist Visa (only for 2 months expiring 19th June). Just want to make sure before I file an Application if there's something I should be careful about…
As per BOI (Bureau Of Immigration, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India), I can ask for extension and they have the "power" to do so based on valid reasons….
Anyone done before or something I should know about before I take this step…..I just don't want kind of trouble at India or Canada airport later during travel to Canada…

Any immediate help in this regard would be really appreciated as I have to fill up application (Entry Visa "X") in next couple hours..below is there website just in case…

thanks!

Hi Bluebirdy,

It would be best if you visit the Passport Office in New Delhi.... the earliest you can do that is Monday morning. The Passport Officer will be able to advise you

Do take a copy of your old/cancelled Indian passport + Renunciation Certificate

Cheers :)
