URGENT! PGWP REFUSED

Hi guys I’m new here, I just got a message today that my pgwp got refused because i was part time in some semesters. Clearly was part time because some subjects I didn’t do good on them and was held back.

What i am supposed to do as now? What is ‘restoration status’?? Am I supposed to leave Canada? Or i can try and appeal for it since i had no choice as to be part time?

Please help if someone has similar problem or went through similar processes

You should immediately meet with an Lawyer!!
Can you share your refusal letter and the reason they gave on the refusal letter?

and "restoration status" means stop all work and apply for new permit to stay in canada, usually it is visitor visa

OP admits that they were clearly part time, not sure what a lawyer would do other than charge a few hundred dollars to agree with the rejection letter.

You can restore to a visitor visa. If you're not eligible at all for a PGWP, restoring to a visitor visa gives you time to get ready to leave Canada. Otherwise, your letter will tell you how soon you have to leave.

You either apply to restore your status as a visitor or leave Canada.

There is no appeal. You had a choice, as it was through your own actions that you failed courses and ended up part-time.

To qualify for a PGWP, you would have to take a whole new qualifying course and remain full-time for the duration.

Unfortunately you failed to take other glasses to make yourself full-time while redoing the courses you failed.

So taking an elective course just to be full time and get the PGWP ?
Is that what you're saying ?
