My elder brother sponsored my parents. Along with my parents, I have also applied as a dependent. I have a question because I recently travelled after submitting the application. Do I have to inform them about this trip because I'm a dependent, or is that not necessary for me?

Travelled where? Why does Canada care where you travel?

Travelling after application is not a problem. You do not have to declare that. You only need to declare the travels you took before you submitted application on the background verification form.
