I am a biomedical Engineer and I am working in a private firm which deals in medical laboratory instruments,
I am working there as a Service engineer and I am responsible for Installation and maintenance of all the equipments which is used in medical laboratory.

Basically I am not working in a laboratory or hospital .

I am working in a private firm who supplies laboratory instruments ,

I am responsible to provide the backup services(troubleshooting, repairing , Maintenance) of the instruments , And also guide the clients how to use and perform the test on the instrument.

Can I apply under the following categery .

3211 Medical laboratory technologists
3212 Medical laboratory technicians and pathologists' assistants

no you cannot. med lab science is a profession that involves diagnosis, interpretation of lab results, carrying out cross matching tests for blood transfusion. it is a highly regulated profession. before one csn practice as a lab technologist, u must obtain a degree .
