Urgent - need your help please!

Hi eveyone! I am from a country that needs visa to stay in canada.

I completed my Post Graduate course (2 years in Canada) and received my Post Graduate Work Permit last year February. At that time, I was still carrying a student Visa (SW-1) which had multiple entry but that visa expired on 31 of July 2014 (I only realized this now! After going for vacation in brazil for a month and upon getting on my return flight to Canada, had to cancel the flight as I realized this!!).

So i need a temporary resident visa which you normally see in the passport. Now i am trying gather information as to where and how to apply for my travel visa? Everything seems quite confusing.

Which VISA exactly do I need under the temporary resident? A regular tourist visa (V-1)??

I am currently in Brazil and need to go back to Canada ASAP to get back to work (I am already missing some days!).

1. Pretty simple, as you have a valid work permit in Canada, you can apply for a new TRV at Sao Paulo, their processing time is posted as 8 days.
2. You can apply either on line or you can submit your application in person at the VAC http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/brazil-bresil/visas/trv-apply_demande-vrt.aspx?lang=eng
