I am an American citizen and just signed a contract with a Canadian consulting company to come over as a management conusltant under NAFTA. They are located in Vancouver but I was going to enter into the Toronto POE because I have a friend there that I can quarantine with there.
Is it important which border I cross into? As far as I read the NAFTA work permits aren't province-specific.
Also, how far in advance can I cross over and get my work permit? I will be working remotely at first so does it matter if I enter the day before my contract start date to quarantine or 2 weeks before?
