Urgent Issue and dont know what to do

Greetings,
I entered Canada as travel document, but I cant obtain my PR since I didn't meet the requirements for getting the PR since I need to stay 2 years in Canada before applying. For now, I applied for masters in Liverpool as online program in UK.I have to go to Liverpool for only 1 week and come back to Canada or I will loose my my online masters. Can anyone help me what can I Do.

You will need to apply for another travel document to return from Liverpool UK to Canada. Unless perhaps, you have a visa-exempt passport? Or transit via the U.S. land border?

Personally, I think you're pushing your luck. If you were lucky enough to get a PRTD to return to Canada without meeting the RO, I'd stay put until you do, if I were you.

Suggested option: find a place in Canada to do your MA.

Agreed. You should assume you won't be approved for another PRTD. If you want to keep your PR status, stay in Canada.

If you don't meet the residency requirements, then how did you get a travel document in the first place?? If CIC gave you a travel doc for some H&C reason, then that would qualify you to immediately submit your PR renewal app upon returning to Canada even though you don't seem to meet RO.

Of course that won't help you until you actually get a new PR card in hand. If you leave before you have new PR card and can't get another travel doc to return, that would basically forfeit your PR status.
