Urgent inquiry about post graduate work permit

Hello everyone:

I am currently doing a 2 yr PG diploma in Hospitality mangt my course ends in december 2012 and my study visa is valid till april 2013. Now according to the rules I am eligible to apply for a 2- 3 yrs of post graduate work permit after my graduation, but my problem is that my passport expires in June 2015 and if I apply for my post graduate work permit after my graduation in jan 2013 i will be only eligible for a 2 or less yrs of work permit because my passport expires in june 2015 and they can issue me a visa only six months prior to my passport expiration.... I cannot rennew my passport becoz that can be done only 1 yr before the expiration...in this case I am stuck ...i want to know if anyone can guide me on how I can ensure that i can get my full 3yrs of post graduate work permit because that will help me in apply for the PR.....

1. You apply for your PGWP, it will be issued to the validity date of your passport.
2. You work, then when you renew your passport, you apply to extend your PGWP to the full term of the PGWP.
