Hi all,

I confused about the time of working experience. Due to I want to apply for PR ASAP, I need the help.
My working time is 1 years and 6 months until now. I want to go through Simplified Application Process. But I need 2 year experience for getting 67 score. I want to know the time of working experience is calculate from the date for subimitting of application form OR date of processing(immigration asking for supporting documents)?

So, Can I submit the application now? or wait other 4 months for application form submission?

Other two enquiries :

1. I need to fill the form with regarding to English Level. But I did not take IELTS exam now, how to fill the form?If my exam result differs from the form I sumbit, how to deal with it?

2. Regarding the course transcripts of education, I graduate from one Australian school. The transcripts should be sealed? send to me ? or directly sent to Canada immigration office ?

Thanks very much. MUCH APPRECIATED.

Sorry, I can only talk about your main question which was about points. Well, I had the same amount of experience as you i.e. one and a half year when I was making application a few months ago. I know the requirement is 67 points but I had 66. They still accepted my application and gave me a file number (although I have been told to wait for the new changes to take place before my application could be processed).

It may be better at this point to wait until they publish the list of 38 occupations for skilled worker which should happen in November. If your occupation is not on the list, you might need to immigrate another way, by getting a job offer and temporary work permit and go through PNP. It will be more clear what will happen when they publish the list and more information about what will happen to jobs not on the list.

As for IELTS, you can take it now to find out your points. Probably better because if you are tight with points, you can't afford to guess it now and then find out when you take the IELTS that you over estimated your english skills and don't have enough points after all.

Thanks, adnan-hsn, your reply. Due to I need 2 year working experience, do you think the time of work experience can be based on the new working time when document submit?

thanks Leon, your remind me "the list of 38 occupations for skilled worker ". my original occupation is marketing manager. See what happen in November.

I am new to this forums .. trying to get some info gregarding the canada PR ... wat all the occupation did they put on the list .If you have list can you please post it to me or where can i see the list of occupations ?Actually i am working in IT it will impact on me ?Please let me know

Thanks in Advance

As seen in other messages above, the list is not yet published and is expected in November. If your occupation is not on the list, you can not apply as a skilled worker but if you are in IT, it should not be a problem for you to get a job offer and come in on a temporary work permit and immigrate that way.
