I received my visa and now I am in canada ,I want to know how long does it take to get my PR card?cause I wanna go back to my country for a while because of family problem and it is better to have my PR card while traveling.thnx 4 help.does there any process to speed up getting my card?

Free,

The PR card will take 4-6 weeks. (about 30 working days).
If you need to go back urgently before receiving your card, may you can ask your friend to post you in your home country.
You need the PR card when you wish to come back Canada. Better to take card and go for safe side.

tnx I rent an apartement 4 one month,but now I when I want 2 send my address to immigration center 28 days left of my contract then I want to live canada for the family problem,is it good to give this address that I reside 28days?I don't have friend or anyone whom I can trust to be trustworthy and safe to send me such an important card?????what can I do?appreciate anyone help and hmisabpk help

It is not advisable/recommended to use the address where you are not going to stay or no one is there to receive your card and to send you to your home country.

If you are in Toronto and you wish to use my address I have no problem. Send me your e-mail or contact number as PM I will send you my address and contact details.

Many posters in this forum said it takes 2.5 months to receive PR cards. Alternatively, you can contact UPS to give you a canadian address and they will courier the PR card to your home country.

I hope you will receive your PR card between 30-40 working days (4-6 weeks).
I have received my PR card yesterday ( total 41 days from landing date, and about 30 working days)
You can update your address information at any time, when you send the form for PR card? what is your landing date?
