Hi Friends,
You have been helping me so far and its almost at the verge of success.
CIC(NDVO) have called my husband to the interview on oct 7th.
We want to know-
1. From the day of interview (meaning, once the interview is done) how long are they going to take to stamp the visa and send.
In other words within what time are they going to send the passportback with visa stamped

Request you to please help answer.
Warm Regards,
Meandmyson

Every visa office is different,
I have seen persons that have got the passport stamped
and Confirmation of Permanent Residence within days...

And some others that take months....

The important thing is that if the interview was positive
the residence will follow soon....

someone with no interview is looking to about a few weeks
after the passport is sent to have it move to in process....
lets say that average is one month...
then the person has to wait for another month for Decision Made...
that is 2 months to have some hope...
and after lets say 2 weeks to receive the passport back...
that makes 2 months and half to get the visa...
and that is with no interview...

So, you can expect about the same...
but as I said before, some lucky ones get it done within days...

Well, thanks very much for answering as much as possible awesomeg.
Awww in our case we sent our passport on January 2nd 2014. So it's no where near to even comparison.
They directly called him to the interview after several months.
It's so unfortunate that we just have to guess hoping that the interview will go good. :'( :'(
Between your quote is very heart touching. Missing our loved ones is the most terrible thing in this earth. I don't know why CIC wouldn't understand this. :(:(

Thanks again!

Hi

I suggest you post your question in the ND thread, as you are more likely to get a proper response.

Hi canuck_in_uk,

Thanks for letting us know. But we didn't get any proper response in the new delhi thread unfortunately!

No one has an answer of approximate dates of when the visa could be stamped if the interview goes well!

:( :( :( Lot of grey area in the process. Atleast inorder to plan something we should atleast know some approximate time lines as 2 weeks, 3 weeks or a month etc !

Oh god who can help!!!!!!
