Dear All,

I applied for study permit in Abu Dhabi .. got the first application returned on 2 June 2017 (applied 12 April 2017) .. I applied again in June 12 2017 ( Still in progress) .. my study starts in two days only 1 August 2017 .. I think of walk-in into the embassy, I know they may not allow me in which is the expected scenario .. I called them and send 2 emails but it doesn't seem that they give attention to my starting date. I appreciate any suggestions / insights .. I applied both applications online through CIC website. thanks in advance !

My application is in queue for review by an officer and they appreciate my patience and will contact me once the process is finalized. They say they receive many applications and some are complicated and its out of their control. Thanks for passing by my thread buddy

Study permit processing can take a few months. Unfortunately there's nothing you can do but wait. If the processing of your application takes too long and goes beyond the start date of your classes, CIC will ask you to contact your school and defer your studies to the next semester.

Do you think walk in into the embassy would change anything? Any previous experience? And thanks for your input
