I am sending my application tomorrow.. My little daughter is Canadian and it says in the check list that we need to provide 6 photos for all family members even if they are not accompanying me to Canada.. Does that mean I have to send my Canadian daughter's photos as well.. please advice me

I am not an expert but it seems unnecessary to provide photos when your daughter is already a Canadian.

usually one needs to send the photos of all accompaning family members, but it's better to call ur local visa office and confirm with them. First time I ever came across such query. I think canadian embassy in ur home country can give u the exact answer.
Hope this helps..

I am in canada and very hard to get cic on the phone

Just treat her as an accompanying member and complete all the requirements. They will obviously ignore it if your daughter's details are not required in the first place.

Providing CIC with more information than they need is safer then leaving an information out and risking as 'incomplete file' if you are not sure about what exactly needs to be done.

Required. It doesn't matter whether your family members are accompanying or not, you will have to provide all the documents necessary (birth certificate, photos, passport if applicable etc) for them as per the checklist. This is so that CIC has information of all of your family members in their file regardless of where they are.

No, she is not included in the application, she is only mentioned in the IMM 5406.

I think it is not a big deal if you send 6 photos of your daughter, you have to be on the safe side. if your daughter is in Canada and you too then it will take approx. 20 minutes to get photos done from photographer and if she is in Pakistan and you are in canada or vice versa then she can just simply get photos done in soft copy from photographers and send it to you and you can take prints of those pictures from any photographer. Hope my answer will help.

hi my son is 19+ and is no longer dependent child as per the new regulation. I have not included him the application. Do I still need to include his photos. passport copies and birth certificates with the application?
