Hi guys,
I have a couple of questions regarding work experience, travel, personal and address history.

Q1. I worked in Africa for about 27 months, I was invited by the company and my visa was arranged by them on arrival. This was visitor's visa which was extended three to four times(which took about 6 months) before my work permit was made. These visitor visas for the first six months however stated that the employment is prohibited but I was still working in the company. My company however had paid a penalty to get my work permit made. Now I am confused, whether my work experience for the first six months would be considered. Secondly, I hope the VO doesn't think I am misrepresenting facts.
Any comments on this please.

Q2. During these 27 months I traveled to 4-5 other African countries(on visitor/tourist visa) for work related reasons where I stayed in the range of 6 days to about 3.5 months. Wanted to know whether these should come under address history apart from travel history?

Q3. Also I have been unemployed for a year, For the first six months, I just took a break and also traveled to the US for a couple of months and for the next six months, I have just been looking for jobs and applying for EE. So, in personal history should I mention this one year unemployment in two parts. One(Unemployed/traveling) and Second(Unemployed/Looking for job)??

Looking forward to your valuable replies and suggestions.

Thanks :))

Someone please help me, I am unable to proceed for the application without getting any clear idea on these issues.

Answer to Q3 is Yes. I will let any senior member answer question 1 and 2.

It's not really clear what the question is -whether your work "experience for the first 6 months would be considered" what?

If you could indicate what part of the application you are concerned about, that may help.

If you don't lie about anything, you aren't misrepresenting anything.

If in doubt, write a letter of explanation.

IRCC will just say "yes," there's no clear guidance on when to exclude a short holiday vs. whether to include it as an "address." I would say 6 days - no, 3.5 months - yes, certainly. But where to draw the line? I would say one month or more, include as an address. If you received mail or had some other documents that included your name and at any address no matter how long you stayed, you might want to include that as well.

That's fine.
