I applied to Canadian PR in Oct 2008 through buffalo USA. till now i have not received file number.
I came back to my native country in Nov2008.
a. both my resident address and communication address in USA as mentioned in application are got changed, since none of my friends are staying in that addresses.
b. in Dec2008, i have changed my communication address IN USA to resident address using USPS website. Now resident address also got changed.
Please note, till today i have not received communication from CIC.
now, i have few concerns. Kindly provide your valuable suggestions.
1. do i need to send email to CIC that my address got changed. requesting them to send all mails to some new address in USA or to address in my native country.
2. do i need to tell CIC that i am not staying in US now. However may come to us in may-june2009.
3. normally, how many days it will take to get the file number. i have filed in Oct 2008.
4. if any mails got returned to CIC will they intimate me through email.
