I have a 4 years and half as a university lecturer..Do you think it will be calculated as 4 years and half as I think it the summer vacation is not counted because the students are not taken classes in summer. please help in this issue.

It all depends on your contract, lecturer has yearly contract including summer holidays..so I'm thinking its counted.unless you work in different colleges.

it is a yearly contract....

Hi Mohamed1978,

Imnot a senior, but as my own experiences, I got more than six years in two different colleges, if you are referring as the COE, your referral/supervisor might write down the exact date as started to the present date, or date started to end contract, so not really sure which way are you asking.

Hope I can give you the answer you needed.

Cheers!

Thanks a lot for your reply about my work experience. Actually, my employer wrote that " Mr ***** had worked as a full time university lecturer from Oct 1st 2008 to May 31st 2013" . This is 4 years and half..My concern is about whether the CIC will take into account the period when the students are not taken classes.... Have you applied under NOC 4011 as a university professor

I really appreciate your advice..
