URGENT HELP, please Related Occupations in NOC LIST

Just waiting for IELTS results which were DUE June 18!, before submitting application for NOC 0632 and find TODAY it is off the list. SO much work to prepare for this. I am in shock!! Previously employed 17 months in NOC8232 as Assistant Driller. This is a "Related Occupation" to NOC 7372 Drillers and Blasters which IS included in the new NOC list. Could someone please explain IF and HOW a related occupation can be applied to an occupation on the preferred list? Thank you and good luck to all who find themselves in this sad situation today.

Check through the job duties of 7372 and see if you qualify based on that.

Related occupation listing is there to help those to find their NOC. So for example, I might see 4131 (which is for professors) but maybe I am not a professor. They list the related occupation to help me navigate to my real NOC because they may have lots of common job duties like 4121 and 4131.
