Urgent help - no passport copy of my new babyborn

Pleaaase anyone can answer me if i can submit the required documents for FSW without a passport copy of my 6 months old baby?

I requested a passport for him from the Syrian embassy but due the conflict happening in Syria it is still not issued yet and im still waititng for it.

I was told that it is ok to submit without his passport copy now and i can add him later...im not confident if that is true.

Any advice please?

I hope a senior responds to you. In my humble opinion you should submit the FSW application, before the end of this month. Submit it along with an affidavit of your problem, and explain that you would send the passport copy as soon as it is available.

Add/Include your son now, just put in an affidavit about your problem. A plain letter also might do, but I am not sure of this.

CIC is flexible about passports for minor at the initial stage. You can send the application right now without the passport. Make sure you mark the forms appropriately and write a cover letter explaining why you don't have it and also that you will provide it to them as soon as you can get it.
