Hello I am Eritrean. I am now at Ethiopia and managed to get Ethiopian passport ( I have now Ethiopian passport). My question is now can I land in Canada airport by buying air ticket to Canada and ask asylum there in the airport ? please help what should i do to get asylum in canada, now i have only Ethiopian passport?

It’s really impossible to say. It will depend on the strength of your application. Ties to home country, ability to afford the trip and finances, travel history....it’s really up to how well you convince the visa officer.

There’s no “ winning “ involved, it’s not a contest , nor like the Visa Lottery system in the USA. You apply for it thru immigration channels . If the supporting information YOU provide to immigration qualifies you for a TRV and convinces the reviewing officer you get one , if not , you won’t

What is your basis for Asylum? Your life has to be in danger and you have to have evidence to support threats etc. Asylum is for people like this, not just to get into Canada.
