Dear All,

I received a letter from Buffalo to submit the PCC for India and FBI. I had obtained them in Nov 2009 and May 2010 for India and FBI respectively. Since my application was submitted in Jan 2010 would they be considered valid.

FYI the guidelines on CIC website says that:
The certificate must have been issued no more than three months before you submit your application.

source: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/intro.asp

Thanks in advance for your help.

PCC should not be older than 6 months. Cheers

NO.CIC clearly states that Police Clearance certificates should not be older than three months, when submitted.

Yes Wilson is correct, Not older than 3 months.

Right Wilson.

All PCC's should not be older than 3months from date of issue of PCC/s (including your home country PCC's and abroad issued PCC's like FBI report who stayed in USA for 6months etc). your home country PCC's valid might be for some 6months to year but CIC not accept it, better to get new one and submit it.
again I reapeat it should not be older than 3months from date of issue of your PCC's.
