Hi everyone,
I really need expert advise on post ITA change in NOC,
Or Please answer if u know someone who changed his/her NOC after getting ITA, and it did not result in any refusal or suspicion.

My job roles fall under NOC1111(financial accountant) and NOC0111(financial managers)

I created my EE (FSW) profile with NOC0111 (financial managers)
ITA received on 25Jan 2017, and now after getting my experience certificate, i m feeling more comfortable to go with NOC1111 (financial accountant).

Is it a problem people usually face? What is expert opinion?

Can I change NOC after ITA and explain in LOE? (Change will Not impact on CRS score)
If there is a risk of refusal, i would prefer to stick to what I originally mentioned i.e NOC0111

I asked this question before but did not get any example or confident advice.

Experts, Pls help.

Thanks and
Regards,
Saqib

i have confirmed this with a senior recently, and its fine.

just change NOC code in your EE profile , and write an LOE explaining it...

in fact i'm doing this for my brothers profile - similar situation to you, got NOC on xyz, after reading the employment letter, he is saying abc looks better... so i will do that...
need to change another thing - his wifes middle name i entered in the wrong column, will change that also...

it wont effect the profile - so go ahead and file your application.

good luck.

I appreciate your quick response.
And what do you mean by "seniors"?. Are they immigration consultant? Or did they also changed NOC and still didnt face any refusal or queries?

I will still appreciate someone who actually changed NOC and did not face any issue with visa officer and got his PR.
This will give me 100% peace of mind.

Saqib

Stunner: IMO, why change the NOC, write an LoE? When Syed is OK with the current NoC.
This will raise the eye brows of the officer

What a blunt expression!!!

he feels more comfortable with the new NOC, and its a fair point... my bro is also like "ummm, i made mistake first time with NOC, this seems more correct... blah blah... " lol...
personally i would rather change NOC now, than them asking me to change it 5 months later... again - personal opinion.

I also changed from 0111 to 1111 as I felt this NOC is easier to prove. I just added a LOE to explain

Yeah,
90% job roles match with NOC1111 that's why i want to change now.
70% matches with NOC0111 (which I originally used in EE Profile before ITA)

So i am still waiting to find someone who had the same issue,
Changed NOC after ITA and still got through.

Just search the forum there is a ton of people who have done this. The consensus is that this is ok to do as long as you don't have PanP

I am also changing NOC. I confirmed from people who have recieved PR that NOC code can be changed after ITA. Do we need to explain this in LoE?

Hey Saqib,

Why you want to change the NOC? Even though, it is matching 60%, it is good to go with 0111. An individual should not copy all the statements mentioned in the NOC. My spouse is chartered accountant and she has a NOC 0111. We had also got this validated with NC-NOC-CNP-GD2@hrsdc-rhdcc.gc.ca (The NOC Unit, Employment and Social Development Canada, Gatineau, QC, Canada).

As such, 0111 and 1111 are very close.

Hi Saqib,

Did you finally do this? And did it cause any issues?
I submitted my application yesterday and just realized the NOC i added in EE is 2173 ( Software Engg) and have actually submitted by profile with 2172 ( more close to my work and experience letter - Database Analyst). I didnt realize that while submitting the application. So dint even submit LOE for this.

There is no difference in points as well because of this. Could this cause problem? Any advise if i need to do anything.

Thanks
