Hi I am an international student.
I have received a study permit upon arrival to Canada. However didn’t get an off campus work permit since I’m on pathway program leading to bachelor degree in MANITOBA.
In the meantime, I have got another LOA if a Diploma course from an institution in Toronto.
Now how can I change DLI as my file not found online.
Can anyone please suggest me how can I get an off campus study permit now and also co-op permit as per LOA.
Is there any legal issue if I change a program and institution?

Your response would be appreciated.

If your study permit is not bonded to any particular field of study you are free to change the program and level

My study permit says "Science, General"I want to study Chef course can I do that?
Can you please quote the law from the immigration website?

Sorry I don't have time to search. Also logically speaking your study permit restricts you to Science General meaning you have to stick to it or otherwise apply for a new study permit if you want to study Chef course.

Thank you for your response. However, a little link to the rules could be helpful.

Anyone else to help?
