Hi all,
I am new to this forum. I need a very urgent help in understanding certain queries related to medical tests for PR.

My son (now 6.5yrs) had cervical lymph TB in 2015, for which we took 9 months of medicine and he is completely cured after that. When we went for his medicals I mentioned this and the panel physician wanted the clearance letter from the doctor who treated him. I have got that letter today.

My problem is one day before the test my son developed cold and cough all of a sudden and due to his past records they took his chest x ray, which shows slight congestion because of his cold. Will cic think that it is because of his past health issues and will that affect our pr application??? Or will they ask for any extra medical test or can I ask the panel physician to take another x ray after a wk which will show a clear result??

Second one is, clearance letter which I got today from my doctor has a small spelling mistake in one place. He had mentioned "asympthomatic" instead of "asymptomatic". Will this be overlooked..I know it's a small human error but still am little worried.

Rgds,
CS

Can anyone help me here please..

It's really impossible for any of us to say for sure. It is possible that CIC will request additional medical tests to make sure that your son no longer has TB. This could delay the processing of your application.

Don't worry about the spelling mistake in the clearance letter.

Thanks scylla...

I really hope a positive reply from cic..I would be happy if they come back for any additional medical records or test..

Rgds,
