Hi

First, I give to thank every one.

My case is here,

recently I applied for a extension work permit with the same employer. unfortunately, I got refused due to the offer of employment id was not provided. Now, I lost my status and need to apply for restoration. I have family (wife n child)

just to inform you that I had been working here as a foreign worker for more than 1 and half years. due to the refusal of work permit I am now preparing restoration status application. As I know, in lost status I can not work.

I have few questions.

Q1. Which way I should apply (online/paper) based?

Q2. in IMM5710E form, in 'Employment' Section, What should I write as 'Current Activity/Occupation' item?????? and, should I put my working experience in Canada until
refusal day of work permit in the 'Previous Activity/Occupation' item?????
I do not know..Please help?

Q3. How long it will take to process this restoration?

Please advise me any other step or any thing I should do for restoration status. I am new and really very confused??

I will really appreciate for your help...need urgent reply...I have to apply restoration as soon as possible.

I can't help you with your first or second question.

As for your third question, restoration can take four months to complete.

Q1; for restoration you can only apply paper based

Q2; in the employment section you can fill your current employement till present.

if i apply to restore my work permit, can I leave the country and visit family at home until it comes through seeing as it will take four months? the i could renter canada on that permit?

No. Restoration requires you to remain in Canada. If you apply for restoration and then leave, this cancels the restoration application.
